Last week my husband and I decided to take the jump to getting a puppy for our family as an early christmas gift. So we starting looking online (trying to find a local but the price was a little out of our range) We then we found this "Topnotchyorkies" In Colorado. They had a very nice website and responding right away. The "woman" Tiffany Blackman was who I was texting with (i only saw women, cause when my sister tried to reach them, they gave her a guy name) seemed very nice concerned about where the puppy was going. She answered all of my questions and took the time to text me. So when it came to payment, she asked for apple pay or Zelle, either one worked! (should have been my first red flag but i'm an [censored]) So then she asked if an American Express gift card was ok? So I went ahead and did that and send her the info and all was good. Then I got a email the next Morning from the "flight company" who was incharge of shipping the puppy to us. The original ower of the dog claimed they have been using this company for 13 years and that they were great and it as an additaion $150 to ship the dog! Which was fine cause we were just excited to have a puppy!! SOO i get a tracking email for the puppy and everything seemed great but then I get a call about a crate fee of 2,000 and it was 100% refundable once dog is delivered. I was thinking ok fine, its a damage liability thing, but then they said their Credit card machine was down, I could only use Zelle and or Apple pay and of course that didnt work again (again red flag moment but nope!) We were in a hurry to get the money cause we really just wanted the puppy to be home and safe. So we paid the 2,000 (i know, not that smart) So all was good and the sent me a video of the dog being loaded up into the plane and that was that. NOPE! I then get a call at 5:30 that there was a plane delay and we wont get the puppy until the next moring. I then texted the Puppy lady and she seemed upset as well. She then said she was going to call the company and ask them what was going on. SO i waited and then heard back saying that they puppy was safe and that they reassured her that someone was with her. She then told me that she would be traveling herself and she would try to keep in touch until we get the puppy. So

then On saturday morning, still no puppy and no word on what is happening. We end up getting a call from the "Flight company" saying

they need MORE MONEY cause the puppy isn't up to date on vaccines for being "Out of care" for so long and we needed to pay 2,500 (100% refundable) and then at that point we were done! I couldn't deal with them anymore, so I handed the phone to my husband and told him to take care of it. We didn't have anymore money to pay, energy to deal with this company, we just wanted our dog. That is when they got rude and non helpful. So after refusing to give them more $$ we didn't hear from them and no dog like we were told we would be having. I also still haven't heard from the Seller either and It just seemed like a mess! Then on Sunday, I heard from "Tiffiany" and she seemed "upset" that i didn't have the dog and then never heard from her after she said she was going to look into it. W ehave since found out that the numbers they used were fake and upon contacting the Colorado authorities, the address was not valid either.
