My phone marked the phone as spam, but sometimes phone numbers can be marked as spam in some cases, but for me who is unemployed took the shot and continued the text conversation. This lead to him asking me to download the Telegram app to proceed to chat with an individual who called themselves, "Christiane Benner." The entire interview was a text interview which raised red flags, there were no video calls, nothing a normal corporation would do as far as hiring process in human resources handle. There were no video introductions to the job, but for me to answer questions about myself and after I was done I was "qualified" for the job. The individual proceed to inform about the job and sent me a link to https://www.uniper.energy/ which rose another flag. First they mentioned about Continental AG but then sends me a link to a European Energy company along with a basic copy and paste of who the company is and the job description they were trying to hire me for.
Once we were done with the 25 questions, which lead them to inform me they will be send me a check for the equipment for the remote job. Me I was thinking the check will be sent to me and the check will be billed to the designated company they have affiliated to send the check to get the equipment. I gave them the address and they gave me the tracking number. I got the package the next day for a check for 3500 dollars sent out to a construction company and none of the jobs I have previously addressed. This rose so many flags as I told the individual this isn't legit and I will not cash this check. I have everything from this poor amateurish scam artist's actual name photographed, and the fake names provided. I have the text from the telegram which has the entire conversation. You can literally see how this person even typed professionally, provide any proof they were legit at all only to see how close I was to a bank and when will it be deposited.
To be honest, I thought this was something for a job but then it lead to a full pledge scam which could hurt anyone who did not pay attention to the details provided. I have everything attached to prove this person, and the companies they represent are all not real. They have no remorse and don't care if you are an unemployed person during the pandemic times looking for work. What would have happen if I cashed the check? I would have been fined or worse for stealing and making fake checks as it was written under my name and address.

Each images are photos from the check that was written out to me from the supposed company to pay for the equipment for this new job. I just hope this really gets looked into, because I wanted to make sure no one falls for this type of ******** ever. Thank you for your time.
