They contacted me for a job. Asked if I had IDme.com and stated it was necessary. A week later I get a job offer letter with their letter head and a link to go to a site to for "Onboarding Information" from the HR lady, "Cassandra Martinez". Get to the link and it's asking for my IDme.com pass word, my SS# and all my banking information...? RED FLAG! I called the number and some Nigerian accented man answered and I asked for Mrs. Martinez, he could barely understand English. I asked again he stated that she's in HR and I can leave a message. I said, no transfer me to her voicemail. He said he can't...? He asked my name and I gave him a fake one, he couldn't even spell Barnette. Then he never transferred me nor asked for a number. Then I did a reverse lookup and it's some guys number named, "William Art" (if that's his real name). He answered and told me it "Top Priority Roofing"...really? He sounded a little shook when I kept asking for him...I said it again and he said it's the company. What kind of company asks for IDme.com password?? Scammers. Glad I'm smart of enough to do the homework. However, most might have gone along just to get a JOB. Please REPORT these scammers before someone get HURT FINACIALLY!
