Details of the Scam:
Misrepresentation of Location: The company purports to be located in Chicago. However, interactions with their team, who seemed to be based in India, along with their mode of operation, suggest otherwise. This misrepresentation was the first red flag.
Lack of Formal Agreement: No formal agreement or outline of deliverables was provided by Top Tech Digital LLC. This lack of documentation made it impossible to hold the company accountable for their promised services, raising serious concerns about their legitimacy.
Unprofessional Conduct: The interaction with their representatives was marred by rudeness and a lack of professionalism. On one occasion, they abruptly ended a phone call without resolving or addressing the service issues, indicating a disregard for customer service and business ethics.
Retaliatory Actions: After confronting them about service delivery issues, three suspicious reviews appeared on Google, negatively targeting my business. These profiles appeared to be fake. When I threatened to escalate the matter legally, the reviews were promptly removed, suggesting that they were posted maliciously by or on behalf of the company.
