Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Anyway, since I did not qualify, it gave me more time to think. I said to myself what if this was a scam? I checked around the web and saw that this scam was the rage in the past 5 years. They say that the checks typically don't clear(leaving you to deal with the consequences of your bank) or it could even be low level money laundering. Now, that I've had time to think, I can see where this could be anything from fencing stolen goods to having goods bought with stolen money to having/shipping illegal drugs or other banned substances/items. Just think, I could have been on a future "Locked Up Abroad"--if some foreign government asked the US about prosecuting me. Not withstanding, US prisons are not exactly high school, either.
If it had the possibility of being legit, then it seems like they would go through PayPal, USPS MOs(NOT EASY AT ALL TO FAKE AND, ALSO, FOOL THE USPS PO), etc. Even if the money was real, then it could be illegal goods/items that you vouch for or money laundering. SO, TO DO THIS EITHER WAY, IS RISKING YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE BIG TIME!
