I was searching for a used boat on Craigslist. I saw a boat and inquired about it. The "seller" by the name of Jessica Perkins informed me that she is going through a broker for large vehicles called Total Car Sales (TCS). Within her email she states that all the additional information can be found on the TCS website and provided a link to the boat in question and provided links to TCS that provided a "how it works" tab and instructions on how to register with TCS. Once I went to the inventory number link for the boat, it had multiple pictures of the boat and all of the specifics about the boat. They even had a "live chat" tab that I used to answer additional questions. The site directs you to their 7 day warranty where upon inspection, should there be any issues, you will receive a total refund and the cost of returning the boat would be on the owner. The website has numerous testimonials about TCS. I searched on line for reviews of TCS and could not find anything suspicious. I then moved forward with the purchase which was by money wire only. I was given specifics as to where to wire the money. Once sent, I was notified that payment was received and the "process status" was updated. Once the payment was confirmed, I was sent a Bill of Sale and Terms of Sale. I then selected the date of delivery which was added to the "process status" and it was documented I would receive additional shipping instructions three days prior to shipment. That was the last communication. Calls to TCS went into automated recordings that disconnected the line upon selecting an option. The "live chat" tab was now an "email us" tab and no emails were ever acknowledged. I have reported this to both the local police and my bank. I cannot share the "bill of sale" due to personal information being on the document.

I purchased an excavator online from Total Car Sales Group. I was told that the item would be shipped. The day I was to receive the shipment, I received an email saying delivery had been delayed to the next day due to an accident. The next day, I received an email stating that the delivery had been cancelled and my refund was in progress and would only take 1 to 3 business days. It’s been a week with no return on my money. We work hard for what we have and needed that for business. They stole a piece of our livelihood.

Jessica Perkins advertised a boat on Craigslist and the sale, transaction and delivery was to be handled by Total Car Sales. Total Car Sales invoiced me, gave me wiring instruction to their bank, gave me 2 delivery dates and no boat. They emailed me that I would be refunded my $ 10,500 back to my bank where the wire came from on 3/5/19 and it has not happened. I've tried to contact the seller Jessica Perkins, no reply and I've called and emailed Total Car Sales, no reply. These people are scammers and are wire fraud scammers. Beware.
