I paid these mfs $110 a month since February. Found out this morning it's all a fraud!

• Jul 26, 2024

I’m a total wreck. They threatened me that they’re gonna take me to court. Sue me. Charge me for a high amount of money. I have no problem paying what I owe you. I’m going through hardship this past few years. I can make payment arrangements, but I need to know, what company in the amount and the account number they won’t give me any information. All I hear is threats from this company physically to my house.

Total Consumer Sulotion is a scam company. They start by leaving 1 or 2 voicemail stating
that this will be their last time calling and that they will pursue a file report or something like that. They claim I took out a loan at Cash Advance like 4 years ago in a amount of $1,110. Arrangements was set to pay $110 a month. Another company called me and mention that I own them money from a loan as well, I stopped them on the spot and told that company No Sir. Payments was already setup by someone else, I will no longer take other offers. Well, I soon found out that I actually own $600 from Meta bank plus I had an offer to lower the payment to $300 instead of $600.
Nevertheless, Total Consumer Solutions lied. To make matters worse, the gentleman whose name is Mark Jacobs (I assume that's not his real name) said If i don't pay this bill, I could go to court. The funny thing about this is that a female representative from that company (I don't know her name) argued and was convinced that I have a driver's license. I can't drive yet never owned a car, yet she argued that I have a driver's license, she told me the numbers and everything. Not sure where she got the information from.
However, total Consumer Sulotion tricked me into paying them $110 a month two times. They need to be stopped. I'm currently seeking assistance in trying to recieve the two payments of $110 back into my account as I typing this message. I had a bad feeling when I answer my phone. My caller Id did say potential scam I should had pay attention to that. The next time I will. IF YOU GET A CALL OR TEXT FROM A COMPANY THAT YOU DON'T ASSOCIATE WITH OR IS UNFAMILIAR WITH THE NUMBER, DO NOT ANSWER
YOUR PHONE. JUST DON'T.

Hey all. I have just been made aware I have been scammed since Feb 2023. My experience with them was the same, they called me about a real debt- to set up a payment arrangement. Then the people who really have my account (Prime Recovery), called me too. I explained to them I was already in a payment arrangement with Total Consumer Solutions and/or Consumer Impact Recovery. I sent them my payment arrangement and all. I thought they were harassing me & whole time they're legitimate. They called me from 901-499-5911 AND 855-323-8786. They answer the phone and say " Hi, thank you for calling the office. This is Lana Williams/Nola Brown-Burch/John Bird (COO/CFO) and whoever else works for them. TOTAL CONSUMER SOLUTIONS was dissolved in 2020, by the state of Georgia. If they have EVER called you, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY OR INFORMATION. I have to change all of my information now. I am filing a police report as well and working with my bank to get my money back. I have never received anything in writing either. Had I not gotten to the bottom of this today, I would have kept paying and telling Prime Recovery to kiss my [censored] or go to hell. These people got me. I don't know how they get your information. This is a real debt that I owe, but paying to a fake company. I called Cashnet USA, who sold my account to United Holding Group, to Metacorp, to Prime Recovery. Nobody has ever heard of TOTAL CONSUMER SOLUTIONS. Please do not be a victim. Do your due diligence.

Did they ever call back or garnish wages? They called me and I want to make sure they are a scam! Thanks!

Man named "Lawrence walker" called to say I have a legal matter, man couldn't even pronounce my county "solano" he called it "salaneo" and he seemed to forget his script a lot. I deleted the messages and blocked the numbers. Phone number 657 999 7865.

Your best bet is to NOT ANSWER AMD DO NOT RETURN THEIR CALLS, BLOCK THEM! if it is a real debt you owe, they will send something in the mail AND you should be able to find something about the business online, and you cannot with this company. I blocked their calls from the phone numbers they used.

They also said they were a law office when they left me message, then the second call said they are a collections place. Just block the numbers.

They keep calling and trying to get ahold of my sister. Today when they called they told me her bday and her last 4 without verifying that I was not her. The told me all of the "details of her case" and I'm not even her, which is illegal. They told me that their name was TCF Processing and that they were "collecting on a delinquent loan from 2017." The caller's name was Antonio Brown. However, the first time the called his name was Tyler Jackson. When I told him that all of the Google results said that it was a scam and mentioned him by name, he called me a liar and threatened to have me arrested. He said the same thing when I called him out on sharing all of my sister's info with me. This company is fake and their "practices" are highly illegal. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!

Got a call from "total consumer solutions" about a bill that I had to file bankruptcy on. The woman is very rude and told me that even if we filed bankruptcy and it is discharged, that they can still collect payment for up to 7 years. When I offered my attorneys name and number, she said that she can not call him because he was paid for by me and if I wanted them to talk to my attorney, he can call them but they will continue to call and collect the debt, then hung up on me. Called my attorney and was told this is a scam and not to give any information to them anymore!

It's funny that it is always the same two people that call from this Total Consumer Solutions. To me it sounds like 2 people that decided to buy VERY old debt from places and try to collect on it before the statute of limitations is up. They are not on the BBB website, you can't find any info except for "beware of scam" websites on this business, the address they give you is for a UPS store which tells me they do not actually have a business office. If this is a real place of business they need to do a better job making themselves look legitimate or they will never collect any money from anyone. My attorney told me that the statute in my state is 6 years, sometimes they can go by the statute in the state the company is in; they gave me an address to a UPS store in Georgia, so they also have a 6 year statute. Oh, also the debt they say I owe is from a Pier One credit card, I pull all 3 credit reports every other year and have seen no such thing fall on my credit report, so tell me what credit card does not fall on your credit? SCAM

I spoke to an attorney about this same company. I'm not sure what state you are in but he told me in my state they can only collect for 6 years (which is the statute of limitations in Alabama) I would check your states statute laws. The woman that called me from this place is a lady name Paige, she is very rude and has even called my family members being rude to them. One time when they called me I got an address from her and it was for a UPS store? ? When you search Total Consumer Solutions nothing comes up for that company name. My attorney also said do not give them a dime.

This number called a few family members about fake debt. Mrs. Dickerson and Tyler Jackson. Called from 319-849-4313. The business office of Total Consumer Solutions. A few of them kind of forgot what business they were trying to pretend to be. Guys when companies get breached, scanners can get your full name, last 4 of SSN, and more info. Be careful out there. This number (319-849-4313) is a scam. Also they advised me that they gave no address, website, or corporate number and that they only do all business electronically only. SCAM. please be careful.

The lady's name is Paige Dickson, she has also called my family members being rude. I was able to get an address from one of them one time when they called and when I googled the address it came up for a UPS store? I know they are a pain. Good luck!

Very little of this type of info comes from breaches. Typically these bottom-feeder debt collection companies get consumer's info when they buy old debt. Debt comes with a chain of title, which includes account info and the consumer's info.

I thought it was a scam too…. I ignored them after given the information & about 2 months later I had to appear in my county for the company looking to garnish my wages that they told me about…. Unfortunately they was granted with it… so … if you know you took loan/credit cards out.. pay them & request document while on the phone!

Hi Lilly. Your statement is a crock of [censored]. You're not fooling anyone! This company doesn't have the credentials to collect in any state that requires credentials (most all do).

Very rude lady called me her name is Paige Dixon, saying I owe a debt but will never agree to send a letter to my new address showing what the debt is. I finally gave in and gave them a credit card number because she threatened to garnish wages, Which honestly shouldn't scare me because I am the HR person at my job and I am the payroll person at my job. Anyway, I set up a payment arrangement, they sent me a letter showing the agreed terms and the address on the letter is to a UPS store. WTF. I spoke to a consumer legal advocate and he said to immediately cancel my card number that she is violating every right I have. Mind you she also called two of my family members threatened them and was very rude to them so... Paige if you ever come and read these complaints you almost had me girl, but I canceled my card and you're not getting one dime from me until you actually prove what this money is from and when you're a little bit nicer. I also do collections myself and you'll never get far with anyone as rude as you are.

Hi Nemrac. You asked, "what's the deal with UPS stores...?" The deal is, they don't want you to know their identity or where they are located. If you want to learn more about bad collectors, visit our website www.debtcollectorsbusted.com

Wow….

I just got the same treatment from the same woman. Left me a voicemail and within 5 minutes had called my son, my dad, and my wife (that I know of). When I finally got out of my meeting and was able to return her call, I found out that it is for a debt that my wife and I settled years ago (5+ years ago I believe). To say she was rude is an understatement. She actually told my 74 year old dad that he was on the complaint as well and made him very nervous. She outright LIED and potentially caused health issues with my dad. This company is a scam and I can't find them on Better Business Bureau's site in order to file a formal complaint, otherwise I would be doing that. These people are scoundrels in an industry of scoundrels, so that is saying a lot.

Above complaint is for a company called Total Consumer Solutions. When I google the name I can't find any information for a collection agency under that name.

For MMG Holdings that I owe money from a loan. I ask when this was can’t give me any dates. If I don’t pay they will have a court action in my name. The claim is for $678.00

Do not accept these calls. They are a scam. They have many different numbers and they are all fake. Contact your State Attorney General immediately and the agency in your state that governs payday loans. BE AWARE, WARREN SANDERS AND SUSAN WEATHERBEE.

Rep named Tyler Jackson called me from (803) 868-6185 stating that I owed a check advance for $635 and $110. I paid the first one and it took forever for me to get a bogus receipt and now they are harassing me about $110. I never received the supporting documentation for either one. They have called my job and other people that are not related to me. I have tried to call the 800 number but it goes to a voicemail and the address that's on the receipt goes to a UPS Store. I want to press charges and want a refund!

What is the deal with the UPS stores? I'm not about to give my money to anyone who doesn't have a valid address and a valid company name that you can find when you search on the Internet

I am reporting a serious problem with account representative PAIGE DIXON! This woman is a bully. She’s rude, disrespectful, and insulting. I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life! I think she should be pulled from the phone lines and made to file papers or sweep the floors! No one should be talked to the way she spoke to me. I hope that no one else has been bullied into going broke because of her abusive language. I’ll refrain from calling her out of her name, but the profanity that starts with a B adequately describes her.

I will add to the list of people that agree about Paige Dixon. She is outright rude and a LIAR. Lying to my 74 year old father is where I definitely draw the line. Calling every member of my family within 5 minutes of leaving me a message is also out of line. I filed a complaint with the AG and have submitted for their company to be added to the BBB site. If you all would like, please follow up and try to file complaints whenever/wherever you can.

I'll say it she's a biotch. She also called my family members and harassed them and was very rude to them in order to get to me. That's not the way you collect money from people Paige.

Hi I just got off the phone with that bish, and you are right she is the BIGGEST bully ever! They say I owe a debt from a credit card that doesn't even show up on my credit report, I know this because I pulled it recently to pay off all debt that I owe. Also they had an old address and when they called me a couple of years ago I gave them my new address and still did not receive anything. They have threatened to garnish my wages. My question is, has anyone's wages been truly garnished or is this a scam?

Consumer was contacted by John Byrd with Total Consumer Solutions by phone in December 2020. He told her she owed money to Check and Go. She paid $110 on Dec 31 and and $110 on Feb 1 from her credit card. She never received anything in writing showing she owed the debt. She discovered on Feb 14 that the number was disconnected.
