I recently bought a Vanilla Gift Card at Walmart for $50. I tried to use the card immediately on some candy, but it would not work. I waited a few days and used the gift card to attempt to make a purchase on a website called touchiing.com This would have been the very first time I would have used this card. However, after entering my card information on the website, I was given a message that my card info was invalid. I then proceeded to go to the website of the card and try to activate the card. Unfortunately, the website gave me a similar notification. Next, I tried calling the phone number for the card. When I finally was able to talk to someone and explain my situation, they pointed out that the card had been used to make two purchases on Paypal, one for 1.95, and one for 48.00. These two purchases were apparently made only minutes after I had entered the information on the website.
