My family was looking for a puppy. As we searched online, we found a French Bulldog on a website. After connecting with the seller, they sent me a purchase contract, which I initialed and returned. They asked that I pay via GooglePay (which should have been a sign). Once I paid, they sent me tracking information. The day the pup was to arrive, my family waited and then I got an email saying they wanted $650 for insurance for the puppy. I offered to get my own independent insurance and they refused. When I asked to cancel it and get my money back, they said it would be a check I'd get after 3-5 days. They needed that time to transfer the puppy back to my name.
