I placed an order with toycharacters.com for a Disney mug. The total at check out was $20.85. The website said payment could be processed through PayPal. After proceeding to PayPal, the screen showed a payment sent to a “Bailey Jennings” and after the payment was processed it did not direct me back to the website to review the order. It just said “payment sent” and the browser kept blocking me from returning to the original site. Aside from this, I never received a confirmation email regarding the order. I emailed the recipient at [email protected] and didn’t hear back. I also emailed the email on their site [email protected], and the email came back as “undelivered”. The payment that I processed was for $20.85, and they drafted $21.89. I reported this to PayPal, they were no help. I reached out to my bank and they helped me change my account numbers since the payment was processed through PayPal but directly from my account. My bank let me know the transaction was processed somewhere in Ireland. This is a fake website, and a really good fake website. They falsely advertise Disney products and even pride themselves on honesty. I have screenshots of how misleading their site is, claiming they offer free shipping on all orders, but yet I was charged a shipping fee at check out. Please help me take this website down before someone else gets scammed, and so that they don’t continue taking people’s personal information and stealing money. Please see screenshots attached.
