Hay GHoop. Been there done that NY Attorney Gen. Good luck. But my question is. I can't even find their web site since they shut it off July 15th or so. When did they get you? If it was after that, what web site. For everybody involved I was gotten July 7 or so. Money was transferred to a Wells Fargo account.

My story is almost the exact same as the one above. Except I was taken for 24,000 They even used the same name Chris Snyder. They had a good July I was like 7/6 or so.

Responded to a listing on Boattrader.com for a Key West 219FS boat. Only option is to submit name and email and wait for owner to contact you. Was contacted by owner of boat, "Chris Snyder" and told the boat was being sold by a consignment company that sells and delivers RV's, automobiles and boats (serves as "broker"), and that there was a 7-day Refund if we were not happy with condition of boat upon delivery, or if it was misrepresented in any way. Registered on Trade Pro Depot website as a buyer, and as we are in SC, and the boat was at a warehouse in Ohio, the first 500 miles were "free" and then $1.15/mile over 500 to have delivered. Received invoice, sent wire transfer on 7/6/21 to bank in NYC and set up delivery for 7/12/2021. Website appeared completely legit, and even chatted with them, and we were communicating by e-mail every step. HIN number was a legit number for the boat. On day of delivery (there were 3 items on truck out for delivery), were informed there was a "crash" but that our merchandise was not damaged; however delivery would be delayed a day because truck tires damaged and needed to get a different truck loaded and set up to deliver. Expected delivery delayed by 24 hours (to Tuesday, 7/13). At noon on Tuesday, were informed by email that insurance claims that indeed there was damage to the boat and they could not sell it to us in that condition and a refund was being initiated and sent back to bank/account that it originally came from and could take 1-5 days, and also advised NOT to go our bank and initiate a refund request, as it may be delayed up to 10 days, because it involves a complaint that has to be cleared before the funds are revered to our account. Upon further investigation, the phone numbers both and 888 and an area code 332 wireless number report "user busy) and no person answers. We have copy of all correspondence with both boat owner AND Trade Pro Depot. Scam got us for over $31,402.00 and no boat delivered.
