Received an email concerning the trademark of the non-profit organization I'm working for. Email stated that someone was trying to trademark the name and that I'd have to contact them to file a claim or that I could be sued and asked to pay 10s of thousands of dollars in legal fees for using the name (don't remember the exact amount and no longer have access to the email because it has been reported for phishing). The only personal information that the email included was our business name. I copied and pasted the email and found that someone else reported a similar email as a scam. The email and the business address were the same but the supposed company name was different.
