I also discovered they copied my brand font in addition to trying to steal money and hustle me. Who does this.

I had a very negative experience with Trademark Gen. I initially contacted them in February 2023 for assistance with trademark registration for my brand. The company, represented by Jonathan Victor, seemed professional at first. They claimed that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) had received an application for a trademark identical to mine and that I needed to act quickly to protect my brand.

They sent detailed emails outlining the steps required to object to the incoming application and secure my trademark. They also mentioned a standard fee of $350 per classification, which seemed reasonable. However, after I responded expressing my interest in proceeding, the communication from their side ceased entirely.

Instead of receiving further instructions or legal fee breakdowns, I began receiving numerous harassing calls and texts from their representatives. This sudden shift in their behavior raised serious red flags. Additionally, I discovered a website based in India using the same typeface and design ideas as my brand, which led me to suspect that Trademark Gen might be involved in a scam to steal my business identity.

This experience has been incredibly stressful and has raised concerns about the legitimacy and intentions of Trademark Gen. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with caution and thoroughly investigate their credibility. It is crucial to protect your brand and intellectual property from potential scams and fraudulent activities.

In conclusion, my interaction with Trademark Gen has been highly disappointing and concerning. I hope this review serves as a warning to others who might be targeted by similar scams.

Hired company online to help with trademark registration. Took $538 as initial payment and then took another 6000 and then another 2800 when I asked why the funds were taken they said the USPTO required the funds for the different classes etc and even sent copies of the requirements they received from the USPTO. I later confirmed with the USPTO that is was a lie and the total charge was $500 and they never sent any requests for more money and it was a scam. They told me to file with the FTC and report it to the credit card company. I did

Greetings,

I sincerely hope this email finds you well. Brittany I've been attempting to get in touch with you for a long. Please read the attached legal document carefully because if you don't, we'll have to follow legal procedures. We have received a legal document from the government asking us to explain the filing that we went ahead and assigned to your business name.

Sincerely,

Joseph Lee,

Sr. Case Filing Officer (Patent & Trademark Registration)

this company sent me a letter with a requirement to conduct an attestation on my application. and asked for an extra $1,000. I contacted USPTO with a request to confirm that this requirement is valid. They told me that this is a scam and they never make such demands. The company I contacted is probably a scam. Don't mess with these crooks!
