I was contacted by this individual via email claiming that he found my resume on a job site. The position was for a Supply Chain Specialist, paying a base salary of $103,400 annually. It would entail using company funds to purchase consumer electronics that I would then ship to a company warehouse here in the states. They would then forward those goods to their "customers" in Europe. I seem to recall that electronic components manufactured for U.S. use can't be used on the European electrical grid - it's a different voltage. I was "hired" solely on my resume - no interview whatsoever. That made me suspicious. The company is incorporated in Florida and has been since 2008. I visited the website and called the number listed - the same man who sent the email answered the phone - NOT a receptionist. I found it suspicious that a company hiring for several $100k per positions wouldn't have a receptionist. I did a search on whois.com to see who owned the website and when the domain was registered. Ownership was protected, BUT the domain was just registered on 11/20/2019 with today's date being 12/4/2019. Hmm. That means the website was JUST recently created. They sent a hiring packet via email to accept the position, strangely they did NOT ask for my SS# in order to withhold payroll taxes - another red flag. On 12/5/2019 I received another email asking that I provide a copy of my FULL credit report - again, not my SS#. I understand some companies will check your credit, but they do so themselves using your SS#. I did not comply. Too bad, great pay for an easy job.

This scam is EXTREMELY elaborate with pages and pages of company description, job description, duties, health insurance benefits, etc. But they kept stressing/reiterating the pay - that golden carrot. I have maintained copies of all email correspondence with this individual.
