After several emails back and forth with an amstaff puppy website I paid $900 via CashApp to the “breeder”. They were very convincing and seemed concerned with only sending their puppy to a good home. They asked lots of questions about my living situation/employment/ experience with dogs etc. which made me feel secure with the purchase. They said the puppy would be transported from their place in Silver Spring, Maryland via an air courier and assured me it was very safe for the puppy. Today I received a notification from this courier service saying that the puppy was being prepped for departure but they needed me to pay for a “refundable life insurance” for the puppy at a cost of $1490. This is when I looked up their ScamPulse.com rating -which is an “F”- and saw a similar story from another reviewer. They then called me by phone and asked if I had reviewed their email. When I confronted them with this information, I was hung up on. Obviously these two companies are working together.
