I answered a notice for work at home. I was told by that person to email another person and he would interview me. I emailed the other person he had me download Google Chat and we spoke only from there from that point forward. I was interviewed and eventually hired I was told I would receive a check to purchase all equipment needed. I had to provide pictures of my drivers license and social security card. ( Dumb I know) but I assumed it was necessary for employment. About a week later received a check for $10,000 for which to purchase all the necessary. Equipment. The check did not clear but they now have all my personal information and I don’t know what to do. I can no longer reach them. Please help me.
