Some representative from Travel Marketing contacts us soliciting to help rent our time shares in Mexico. They promise no money transactions are needed from us. Then they send us over to Colonial Title an alleged Escrow company in Athens, Georgia where they proceed to lure you to send wire transfers to a bank in Mexico, it starts with small numbers to lure you in, before you know it we had invested $50,000, then the demand for bigger amounts started and threats that if we don't send these alleged fine and fees that the Mexican government requires which of course the buyer reimburses at time of payout his lawyers will come after us and not only will we lose money but also our time shares.

This company called me to offer to sell a property timeshare I have in Las Vegas, Nevada. They said that the person interested in purchasing the property was from Mexico and that I only had to pay $3800 for some sort of taxes and that they would pay me back that amonut when the purchase was done they sent a contract for me to sign and said that if i did not pay any additional charges(that would also be re-environment) then i wold have broken the contract and I would not get paid. I spoke to a friend of mine who also has a timeshare but she has it in Mexico and unfortunately she has been contacted by the same people and had been scamed closed to $40,000 thinking she would get her money back. The reason she kept sending money was becase of the contract she said they kept on threatening her she would not get any money if she stopped sending what they were asking for.
