Searched through Google for airfares and www.CheapFlights.com was one selection that came up. Searched for flights through them and one sight came up for BestTicketFares.com and they had the cheaper flight available. Booked flights through them for a total of $501.14. Their site said someone would contact me within 24 hours with flight confirmation, etc. Well, someone did call back within the hour and I was told the flights I booked were "restricted" and no luggage whatsoever could be taken on the flight, including a carryon or a personal item. That should have been a flag right there. I told Aaron (Rep I spoke with) that that wasn't acceptable and we did need to have luggage. Well for an additional fee of $248.75 we could take one personal item and a carry on but, could not check any luggage. I asked to cancel the flights and they said that wasn't possible, if I did, I would lose the $501.14. If I did want to cancel I'd have to talk to Delta Airlines, since that was the airline the flights were to be booked on. I caved in and said okay, I would then pay $749.89 for the flights, although it was under duress. All of this was on 5/24 and I was told I would be getting an email confirmation from them within 24 hours with our Flight E-Tickets. Well, no final booking email came through, only one saying "Your Booking Is in Progress". I didn't think a whole lot about it just yet, but did receive a phone call from them on the 26th. A manager by the name of Michelle (keep in mind the two people I dealt with on the 24 & today were Indian with a very strong accent that was at times very hard to understand what they were saying), called to inform me that my card payment was declined and I needed to rectify this matter immediately and did I have another credit card to charge. They also started calling my husband's cell phone. I told her I needed to make some phone calls. I called the credit card company that had denied their numerous charges, there were several attempts made for different amounts. Thankfully the credit card company was on the ball and these charges were flagged as suspicious and were all declined. I also called Delta Airlines and they had no record of us being booked on any flights that I had given them, or any at all. So, I called Michelle back and she pushed saying if I cancel this I will loose the original $501.14 that she claimed was already processed by the credit card company. I told her she was incorrect that I had verification from them that that charge had been declined. I even called the credit card company back just to make sure I had understood that all charges were declined and that my card had a hold on it and was then cancelled. So even if they try to run another charge, it wouldn't go through. My credit card company suggested to go to BBB.org and do a search on that company and sure enough, I wasn't the only one to fall for this. I'm just glad that Capital One was on the ball so I don't have the further aggravation of getting the money back. All I can say is DO NOT use this website. They are obviously scammers and then they will harass you with a bunch of phone calls.
