Travel Showcase 2022 Reports & Reviews (73)

Tourism & Travel Show 2022 from Jennifer Smith...yeah, Smith. Phone number 833-200-0085. Says the location will be at a Hilton Garden Inn, but doesn't say where nor when. The letter says in EXCHANGE for your attendance you will receive two complimentary round trip airline vouchers. So that means those are for future use. You can't use these for airfare and hotel for this event because you don't get them until after you attend. That's the way I read it. Keep in mind also they can put whatever blackouts dates and travel restrictions/locations they want on them so it's probably going to be something most people will end up never using. You get pay all the upfront costs for attending some discount travel sales membership program that most people aren't going to buy. You're paying to listen to sales pitch, basically.

Received this letter in the mail. Of course it has to be too good to be true, then when I noticed that everyone in my household Received one, I knew right away SCAM...

I Googled the information from the letter and this site is where it lead me. So obviously I was right. This us totally a scam. So don't waste your time.

I've been to a few of these types of presentations. A couple of them for timeshares and one for a different spin on that for Wyndham. This one is trying to sell you a membership for a vacation club that promises heavy discounts on everything from airfare, hotels, to car rentals. They have a 110% guarantee that you won't get a better price anywhere. The "gifts" are near useless as I found with the ones we got from Wyndham. Those accommodation vouchers had upcharges for the nicer places and you were restricted to their portfolio although Wyndham did give us a $100 Amex card. No such luck with these guys. For this adventure, the presenter is Lux Vacation Resorts, who purports to act as a travel agency. They want 10 grand if you sign up today plus a $399 annual fee. The letter is misleading in that they'll give you two airline vouchers plus a 2 night hotel stay. The reward actually has 6 choices and are limited in dollar value. Almost positive the gifts have a limited value and you'll have to pony up some of your own money to meet your usage. There's also a "bonus" $100 dinner voucher which is actually a code to be registered for diningadvantage.com where merchants offer you savings. We went just to get airline vouchers and we'll see what happens. Good luck to you if you go.

Got same letter, described as "a fun filled travel and adventure showcase." Was offered 2 round trip air vouchers, and 2 nights at Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt hotels. Letter states the location of the event is at "Hyatt Place." There is no "Hyatt Place" in the San Francisco Bay Area! No dates or specific locations given for the show.
Signed by "Jeremy Jones" at (800)713-9551 (Claim Number Dublin01).

Googled it and ended up here. Obvious scam with fake letter received on 9/12/2022, to my zip code 94568.

I received a letter in the mail from this company that was called “Travel Showcase 2022” inviting me and my spouse to attend a short 60-minute presentation attempting to get America traveling again. In exchange for my attendance, I would receive (2) two complimentary round-trip airline vouchers valid for travel within the continental United States departing from most major international airports. In addition, I would receive (2) two nights at one of over 1000 Marriott’s, Hilton’s, or Hyatt’s. Retail value is up to $980. I was to call 800-245-8990 to reserve my space. And I was to use the claim number FRE01.

I had a feeling that this is a scam and did not reply to it. I looked it up on google and confirmed my suspicion.

I received a letter with the header Travel & Adventure Show 2022 also signed by Jeremy Jones with number 833-200-0064. Checked the website https://travelshows.com/ and the contact number is different and there is no Jeremy Jones. There are no shows scheduled in 2022.

Looked up Travel and Adventure Show on You Tube. Looks like it would be a fun and legitimate show to go to with venfor booths for a lot of various travel information and locations. Upon further research on the internet I think the letter I received signed by Jeremy Jones is not the travel show I saw online. I did not call the numbeer on the letter which is 833-200-0085. The back of the letter says it is not a timeshare...

I reeceived a letter today with the same verbiage as the report from victim in the 93619 location. I phoned number given and was told of the short (60 minute) presentation to explore Travel & Adventure Show 2022. The letter had the invite to myself and my spouse or partner. I informed the rep on phone I was divorced and my boyfriend would be the one who would attend with me. She said the rules do not allow unmarried couples to participate. I told her the letter stated spouse OR partner & she told me that she was sorry. I requested a mailing address to inform "Jeremy Jones" of this problem with his letter, she was unable to provide one and there was no return address on envelope it came in. Phone # 800-713-9551, claim # SanRafael01.

One thing I did notice is that each person has listed different phone numbers. Probably different claim numbers as well.
Here is the phone number , name and claim number on my invitation.
Contact Name- Jeremy Jones
Phone- 855-478-6005
Claim voucher number- Frederick01

I received a letter and when I responded it said we have a special promotion if I was over 50. When I pressed 1 a woman started to tell me about a special medical monitor button. I told her I wasn't interested. I called back and this time I didn't press 1 and the call said thanks for taking the survey. I then called back and was told this number isn't available. 800-274-2818 from a Jeremy Jones.
