I called a number believing it was ……… Airlines. They convinced me that they could book me on a better connection to …..for less money in Premium seats that I had already booked with the airline. They assured me I would receive a refund to my credit card for the money I had already paid the airline. somehow they wiped out my reservation I had made with the airline and rebooked us but not with premium seats. I have called repeatedly and spoken with the person I spoke with throughout this nightmare and he keeps telling me I will still get a refund. So I am out the original nearly $8000 paid to the airline and about the same amount to the scammers. I have not given up but do not know next steps to take.
