This Travel Agency called "Travel Unravel" somehow superimposed or otherwise masked their phone number link onto what I THOUGHT was an Alaskan Airlines customer service number to add my dog to my flight (in cargo). Indian accents, I was trying to not be prejudice.... never asked me the breed of dog or how big the crate was. The price quoted did not match AA's website so I assumed that maybe the prices went up... $498 each way with an additional like $100 worth of bull[censored] fees. Dont know why I kept going. I asked if I could pay at the airport and she said if I do, they will charge an additional $50 each way so I went ahead and gave her my CC info and approved the charge from "TRAVEL UNRAVEL" for $198. Gave her my email and a secondary number (my mom) and she said the payments would be in multiple transactions. Got off the phone and realized the number I had been calling was not a 1-800 number and just some New York number. (I feel so stupid - I think I was sleep deprived) So I went and locked my credit card. I went back and looked for another Alaskan Airlines number, called them and said I think I got scammed, described the situation to them, and they said no they dont know that company. She then pulled up my reservation, asked for my dog breed and size of kennel for the cargo hold, and then said "Huh... this is so weird... you dont happen to have a chihuahua you are taking for carryon, do you?" THEY WENT IN AND ADDED THIS RANDOM DOG TRYING TO MAKE IT SEEM LIKE SOMETHING HAD BEEN DONE? I asked how that was even possible and she said that with the confirmation number, my last name and possibly email, anyone can technically go in and make requests etc. for the reservation. They were calling me and leaving voicemails and even called my mom's number looking for me, and sent me a fake email invoice where they gave me a "$100 discount" I also got an email after calling her back and cussing her out that said my money was being refunded (press F to doubt) The number I called was (347)-899-9574 and 212-540-9121 is another per their website, travelunravel.com

When my Frontier flight was canceled due to weather, I did a Google Search for Frontier Airlines Customer Service. I found a link, called the number and the person proceeded to tell me Frontier's airline policy for canceled flights... saying that even though it was canceled due to weather, they would waive the usual $110 rebooking fee and only charge me the difference in fare. They attempted to get me on a flight that was going to cost $500-$600, but when I complained... they got me on the NEXT flight out of Harrisburg, PA which was 3 days later and said it would only be $125.99. They put me on hold, sent me an email that said FRONTIER AIRLINES CONFIRMATION and asked me to confirm. It wasn't until later that I realized the email came from [email protected] and that I was never speaking with Frontier Airlines! Frontier actually would have put me on the next flight for FREE!
