Then scammer suggests that the payment be made to India account as the IATA (agency code used to block ticket) is from India.
Scammer tricks us to believe that they are genuine by first issuing the ticket (which we can verify with airline reference number and update all the details as its a really issued ticket) and once they receive payment, cancel / void the ticket.
I contacted airline and they have advised that the agent is genuine with an IATA number however they have voided the ticket which is not the norm and were guessing this could be a scam by conniving us into booking a ticket and using option they have to cancel ticket within 24 hours
