The scammer poses as a travel agency. This is for my uncle who was looking forward to going on a trip over 4th of July with his family to the Dominican Republic. The scammer got him quotes and never truly booked the flights or the hotels. The flights were initially booked and then canceled. My uncle was asked to wire the money over as they said they did not accept credit cards.
