Received call from Washington DC at 202-543-8451 and was informed that the government was looking for candidates to award free grant for school. Gave me another number to call to verify ( 628-207-4936) along with a code JS121. Called but hung up when the guy who answered sounded like he was awakened by the phone!

Answered phone. Recording telling me it was the Treasury Dept and if I did not call same number back that legal action would be taken against me. Reverse phone lookup, says this number is registered in Staten island.

The pre-recorded message said there was $9002.00 of unclaimed money with the treasury dept and that I needed to call 206-401-1050 to register for it. When I called back, a lady with an accent grew angry about my questions regarding this treasury dept claim and told me I was bothering them and not to call back.

Today at 2pm I got a call from 619 352 0896, didn't recognize the number so I don't answer it typically. A female voice said I needed to contact them "the treasury department" about tax fraud. Just for giggles I called the number and in broken English a male answered and said 'treasury department' I don't recall if he or she said US treasury department I was too busy laughing as I hung up. I am not super clever by a long shot and figured this was most likely some sort of fraud. So just thought I would pass it on to you all. If you need anything from me or feel I should take it 'up the chain of command' some where else I will do what you all think is appropriate. Thanks for your time and service!

they called my wife and offered her 7000$ in free grants. All she had to do is call 202-546-5635 and give Confirmation# BR001 and they would send the money to the closest location. I call the number and they answered as the treasury department without and delay

I get several robo calls daily from (253) 245-1992. I decided finally to answer. The guy spoke in very broken English and said that I had been selected for a government grant. I told him that I didn't need a gov grant and asked to be removed from the calling list. Of course, they did not remove me and I continued to get the calls. I finally decided to answer again to see what info the caller was requesting. He said that he was from the Treasury dept and gave an address that I could not understand due to very broken English. However, I did understand that it was from New York, NY. However, the phone identifier shows that the call came from West Virginia. I questioned him about this and he said he was calling from NY. He proceeded to ask for my full name and at that point I told him again that I was not interested. He then said "you told me that you were interested and I don't have time to waste on you". I then called the phone number and got an answering machine that did not ID where I was calling.

Called and told me I had received a payment. I said, Yeah without thinking about it and he hung up

This was a call from someone identifying himself as David Gray. He left a message in my voicemail saying that he is from the Treasury Department and that "an enforcement action has been executed against me by the United States Treasury Department" and that I was to call him back. I am attaching the recording I received.

Caller asked to speak with me by name. I did not identify myself. When I asked who was calling, he stated (non-English accent) that he was "someone Williams?" with the Treasury Department and that I had been randomly selected to receive a grant of $9,000.00. I stated I was not interested and hung up.

Call occurred on 05/17/16 at 4:02pm CST.

l had a phone call and the lady said i was picked by the Government to receive a grant of 7000.00. They they gave me 3 options to receive the money by a credit card or in my account or thru Walmart or trans union. They gave me a number to call 347-980-7114 which they said was the treasury department and to give the the authorization number of af27102. they said i could get in within 15 minutes. l tried to call the number but is was like i was on hold and just music was playing.

Dennis Gray calling about enforcement action by Treasury Dept. did not refer to anyone in household but threatens grand jury appearance or in front of Federal Magistrate. Return # is 954 55-2978

Caller stated he was from the Treasury department and he was a lawyer and there is a warrant for my arrest for back unpaid taxes. I told him he was full of it and hung up.
