The individual offered a job opportunity for entry-level work: customer service representative, data entry, and administrative assistant, and above-average paygrade for such simple work. After deciding on a position; they will ask for your name, address, phone number, also conduct an interview via text. Once you're "hired" they will provide a list of items needed to begin working and mail you a "check". They will ask for your login information for your phone provider. They will also ask to see the amount you have available in your account after you deposit the check. Have you spend money from your account and the check provided, but the amount you'll spend from the vendors is higher than the amount provided by the check. The vendors will be individuals and you will use either Zelle or Bitcoin to make the payments. There were three emails provided by the scam: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected].
