The scammer sent messages to hundreds of people recruiting data entry clerk using a fake corporate email, [email protected], whose domain is one letter "h" from the real domain, trilogyjobs.com, and asked people to contact with him via Zoom text Chat using the account [email protected]. He then sent an offer letter via [email protected], and requested for Driver's License, and for employment purpose, I filled up the i-9 form with SSN, address, phone number, and a copy of passport. He then mailed a fake check attached via UPS air, in the amount of $4820, requesting that I purchased equipments. I checked with Max Credit Union, and the branch said it was a fake check.
