I called the merchant to request a refund, but I was told that it was a recurring subscription that I had 2 weeks to cancel and hadn't. I had absolutely no knowledge of any recurring subscription or deadline to cancel. They told me they wouldn't refund me but they would cancel any additional shipments.
I called my credit card company to dispute the charges, but they told me that since I had canceled AFTER the second and third shipments, there was nothing they could do. They encouraged me to call the merchant back to request a refund and threaten to report them to the BBB, so I did. They offered to give me a 30% refund and I declined. So they offered to give me a 50% refund and I told them I wanted 100%. They offered to give me 75% and I accepted. It was better than nothing, but I still wanted to report the situation.
