Type of a scam Moving
I was told that what the first alleged "sales" rep had offered me was not accurately recorded. I accepted terms based on what was originally told and a payment was taken, which was later deemed a "deposit amount" when I was told it was toward the services that would be provided. The terms of the initial contract were then voided. What was offered to me by Trinity Moving and Storage was NEVER fulfilled and again despite my numerous attempts to secure a date, Trinity Moving and Storage never committed or made any attempt to the implied terms.
With such an influx in price, with no prior fulfillment on a committed day or time and with no service being provided -- that the deposit payment was taken under unjust consideration and could only be deemed as fraudulent in nature, in reference to the prior points that I've outlined. The alleged "company" is registered in Florida. Under Florida law, an individual commits fraud when they conceal information that should not have been concealed, when they purposefully lie, or when they undertake any sort of dishonest act for the purpose of benefiting themselves and duping another.
What Trinity Moving & Storage LLC conceal is that they have absolutely no intention whatsoever to provide services until they receive at minimum double the price or well beyond whatever the mutually agreed upon initial price is. They will take an initial payment toward the total estimate for the work, claiming that fee is only a "deposit". If you go near this company be prepared to lose thousands of dollars and have to find last-minute moving arrangements.
I've been working with my credit card company on this "deposit" that was taken on my card from Trinity Moving & Storage. The supporting documentation that Trinity Moving & Storage provided was a ton of personal data for other customers that I now have access to, including full names, addresses, email addresses, in some cases billing information - all for other customer (victims). I don't know if I lost any personally identifiable information myself, but I will say that given this PDF full of pages of other personally identifiable information - I would not be surprised if my information is sent to other customers.
