I got a charge of $4.99 + tax from boku.com on my Virgin phone bill 2 months ago. I called the phone company to reverse the charge because I never heard of this website before. They asked me to contact them directly. I went on their website and there was no direct number to call from Canada. They didn't even have a location here but everywhere else around the world so I went to their contact us page and asked to remove the charge and cancel and remove the number. I didn't hear back so I emailed them again and they said for me to go on the account to check, which is crazy because I never created an account since I have no idea what this is.

Anyways, they said the transaction was from Triton Global, which I never heard of nor do I know what they did and asked me to email the publisher.

I emailed them to explain the situation. Thia lady names Danielle basicially said for me to pay the amount that was charged and they will then send a cheque for the refund with proof of payment. I did not provide my informaiton because I do not feel comfortable in doing that considering I have no idea who this company is or what they do. They said no refund again, that is how their procedure works. But how do i know that for sure if I never bought anything. They came back and said we used a directory assistance, which ia where the charge came from. They said someone called a toll free number that was not in service and when that happens the phone is supposed to provide directory assistance only if you press 1 on the dial pad. However, if a number is out of service, we hang up not press 1 when we do know about it. They refuse to refund the money so I am not paying it. Luckily, my phone company who I have been with for years decided to take that off
