An email was received by oy our Accounts Payable department that appeared to be an email conversation between our company President and a rep from this company, Pat Wilder. This was a fabricated conversation. The email address that was in the thread for our President was not his email address. The email that came through to the AP email address included an invoice and W-9. I searched the company and found that there was a company formed in Colorado on October 15, 2024 under this name. No phone number was listed on any of the information we received.
