- Portland, TX, USA

Went online and looked up florist in Portland, TX. Troy's Florist came up. I ordered flowers for my Mom for Mother's Day on 5/8/19. Received email confirmation saying they would be delivered that day. By Saturday, no flowers had arrived and no confirmation that they were delivered.

I have tried calling their number 866-856-2315 and immediately get put on hold and am on hold for 5 min before the line goes dead. I tried that maybe 10 times and get the same result on many different days. Then I saw online many complaints about that company. When doing a search for florists in Portland TX, why did it come up with Brunswick, NJ, 1,844 miles away? The company setup their website to be first in line when florist was searched and they scammed people. Then after 2 days they changed their website, because if you search florists in Portland, TX now they don't come up.

I had to contact my bank and tell them it was fraud (which it was) and they are getting the charge reversed. This is a horrible way to scam people. If I lived near there I would choke somebody, especially the lady that picks up the phone and says "hold". Instead of spending all the time to scam people, why don't they go and get a real job and contribute to society.

I purchased a large bouquet of flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. I was guaranteed delivery on Friday, May 10th. They did not arrive until Tuesday, May 14th. My mom then sent me a picture of the bouquet when they arrived because I was concerned when they didn't arrive at the scheduled time. The bouquet was half the size of the bouquet I ordered. When I asked to be refunded for the amount I over paid and for shipping to be compensated, customer service was very difficult. When I asked to speak with a manager, they tried to pretend like they were the manager. I asked to speak with someone else with proof of their role in the company and got passed around several times between customer service agents. Then I was informed that if I spoke with manager, I would be "put on hold for awhile and then hung up on." Needless to say, I am not happy. I contacted my bank to report fraud and get the charges reversed. I will be writing reviews anywhere possible to prevent anyone else from falling victim, and I will be contacting the ScamPulse.com.

I googled florist near *** Ok and Troys florist came up. I live in NC and was ordering flowers for my mother in law. The site looks real and once you place the order and pay they send a confirmation that it will be delivered. Their site even says same day delivery I placed the order several days ahead and she never got it and they don’t answer their phone. I then saw others were having the same issue. It’s a scam and should not be an option online. We lost $100. Plus my mother in-law didn’t get her mother’s day bouquet!!! It shows up on the bank statement as Americana Florwers !!! And yes it was spelled incorrectly and it says it is in NJ on my bank statement!!!

May 9,2019 I ordered flowers to be delivered to four moms for Mothers Day. They were supposed to be delivered before 5 pm on Friday May 10,2019. I called customer service Friday May 10th to make sure everything was good. The customer service representative assured me that the four moms would receive their flowers before 5 pm. I found out that no one had received their flowers so I immediately tried calling Troys Florist and the phone would put you on hold for 10 minutes and then ring several times before disconnecting you. I tried calling several more times just to get put on hold over & over again. I also tried again several times the following day. I sent the company an email stating how disappointed I am with their service. Today May 13,2019 they sent me an email, this was their response:

Ordered flowers on May 6th for deliver on May 10th. Flowers never delivered and they never contacted me. I send an email to them on 5/11 asking why the flowers were never delivered and here is the response I got:

“I am so sorry, we contacted every florist but they all required more money to do this order due to the Mother's Day holiday and we did not want to ask you for that. We tried our best. I've just placed this for a full refund. It does take 2-4 business days to appear on your account. I do apologize for this.

I am sorry that you were not notified sooner.

Thank you. “

I also tried calling several times on the 11th and the phone just rang and rang.

I ordered flowers from Troy's Florist on the web. It was listed as a local florist for the location I needed flowers to be delivered. They have a legitimate looking website and all seemed above board especially after I received a confirmation email. The flowers never arrived but my card was charged immediately. Upon further research I found all sorts of bad reviews about them never delivering flowers but just charging your card!

I was the next victim. The phone number listed for the company rings endlessly. And they do not reply to your email as stated.

We ordered a funeral spray from this company in Carson , CA. We called them on the phone and placed an order for a funeral spray for $126. When we received the picture from my cousin as to what was delivered we were stunned. I contacted the company by email and was offered a 35% refund as they claimed what they sent was of the same value just a substitute. This company did not even send a funeral spray this is a little basket someone picked up from the grocery store this is a scam.

Ordered two bouquets of flowers on Thursday, 3/7/2019 transaction # 616699 and they were never received. Tried calling the number numerous times. Someone answers "Florist, ple[censored]d." and they never came back to the phone.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on a certain date an they never arrived. After trying to call the number it just continued to ring for 6 minutes with no voicemail. I emailed the customer service address and never received anything back. Troys florist is a total scam.

Ordered flowers on Feb.8, 2019 while we were in Florida for a funeral in Victoria, Mn. Paid with credit card. From friends we learned that the flowers were not delivered. we called Troys Flowers, they apologized and claimed flowers were not delivered due to bad weather. On Feb.11, they promised a refund in 2 to 4 business days. This did not happen, we subsequently called, they responded with a promise that the refund would be coming, Nothing happened, we send an email on Feb. 20, received a return email with a promise of 3 to 5 business days.

It is now Feb. 26 and a refund has not been received.

I ordered flowers for my daughters birthday and it promised Sunday delivery. She never received flowers and I emailed customer service, who responded stating I would get a refund in 2-4days. I never received refund and contacted again and agent stated that refund system had went down and it would be re eneyered and it would take 2-4 days again. Still did not receive refund and the customer service no longer responds to my emails nor is there anyone who answers the phone at number listed. I am not out $84 for a service I never received.

Ordered floral arrangements for my sister's memorial service. Confirmed that they delivered to Lake Geneva, WI. (Their website that I pulled up makes the consumer think that it a local florist). Floral arrangemnts were never delivered. I called and notified Troy's Florist and they didn't give me a reason why they didn't deliver them and ask if I wanted them sent somewhere else. I told them no thank you, just the refund is fine. They sent me an email saying they processed the refund. I never received the refund. I called them again and explained everything all over and they said they had an issue with the computers and would reprocess. Waited 6 biz days and never recd refund. I called a third time, was given the run around and finally another person got on the phone (they wouldn't give their names) and said it has to be reprocessed and sent me a "receipt" via email of the refund they processed. Waited another 6 days and no refund. Called for the 4th time and no apologies, just the same thing, we have to reprocess. I asked for a manager and the rep said that there's one there but she's not in the room. I asked for the manager at that time and then she said she will send me the receipt. I told her I have the receipt but no refund. She said I'd need to take it up with my bank. I told her ok, I'll be taking action against you and hung up. I called my bank and opened a claim. I put a claim against Troys Florist with the ScamPulse.com and found they are actually physically located in New Jersey and use businesses in the local areas. This has been a headache and I'll be contacting my local news station investigation team as well. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEIR SCAMMERS!!!!

They wait till the day you want the flowers delivered and email you saying it’s going to cost more. Then when you agree to proceed, they don’t deliver what you ordered or on the day you want it delivered and will not refund you your money.

Ordered flowers from this company which advertises same day delivery. Received an order confirmation via e-mail that showed the delivery date confirmed. Flowers were not delivered. E-mailed the company and they said the local florist had extended holiday hours through 9/5 due to labor day. Inquired again and they said the order was delivered. The recipient never received the order. Numerous scam websites and rip off reports show these companies, Troys which is the website and Americana which posted the charges to my account, doing this to other people.

We are a florist located in Rochester, NY. We received an order from a woman named Debby Cruz, posing as a customer and she placed an order for another person that placed an order on a website that poses as a floral shop. I was able to contact the original person and they stated that they placed the order online through Troy's Florist. I proceeded to call the number provided and they first stated that they were a new business and then a logistics company. The phone number provided and address brought me to a floral company called Ruby's Florist which doesn't exist as a real shop. I am very concerned and want to make sure the customer does not have their identity stolen. Please call *** for any further help. Thank you.

I googled searched a local florist for my mom's area to order her flowers on Mother's day. I found Troy's Florist online that said they are in Littleton, NC. They even have a customized notice they will only be delivering emergencies to Littleton, NC. Later received an email stating it would be an additional $45 due to the hard to reach area. I did not think anything of it because she really is hard to reach. I asked to cancel the order and they said they will cover the extra cost. I was thinking they were a local store and that is normal for mom and pop shops...customer service. Well now the day after Mother's day the flowers were never delivered and I was not given an email or phone call. I am now being fed lines on how I have to wait for the manager and I can't get refunded due the flowers already being ordered. There are hundreds of scam reviews on Google so I don't know how this place is continuing to scam people.

- Tampa, FL, USA

I order flowers for my mother's 70th birthday. These people simply collect order payments, then call after 5:00 PM to tell you that the order can't be completed and never return the money. The pictures they use on their website are all taken from nearby florists' websites.

- Miami, FL, USA

This floral company has a full website and claims to be in Atlantic Beach , Florida. They took my credit card, charged it, and then never delivered my flowers. When I called them to find out about it, they had no answers, but it is definitely a scam. I contacted other legitimate local florists in Atlantic Beach with the real 904 area code and they said no such business exists.

They answer the phone "flower shop" and I believe they are operating their scam under several erroneous website names that don't actually have physical locations and don't actually deliver the flowers ordered. They were quick to email back answers and then when I accused them of being a scam and stealing my money with no product delivery, they stopped writing.

- Williston, FL, USA

Ordered funeral flowers and they were not delivered. Paid over $94, no refund, just excuses. I have all the emails and phone calls logged. They simply say they cannot refund the money without "talking to the delivery driver" (and act as though they just missed him) then it became they need to "talk to the location" and they could not explain what that meant, but apparently "the location" is closed in the morning, all day, and evening.... because they kept saying they were "closed at the time". I will try to get the $94 back from a Visa chargeback, but this must stop. When I type their name online I found that they operate with MANY NAMES and different website addresses, some of the others include "Rudy's Florist and Gift Shop" and "Americana Flowers" and American Roses. THERE ARE HUNDREDS IF NOT THOUSANDS OF CLAIMS against this company online but they are still operating. How do we stop them? www.troysflorist.com They are a complete scam. Their address is apparently not even their actual location according to neighbors of that address. I was told by the employee that she only knows one person in charge names "Clay Matthews" but he does not exist anywhere that I can find, so that must be fake. If he is a real person, then I will find him eventually. The employees are so exhausted with the lies, I am sure they only stay on for a few weeks and then quite. One employee said something "between the lines" but probably is being recorded so she can not tell me the truth, but I got still got her "message". The company name is not even registered with the State of NJ! I will keep reporting them to every place I can. No one should take a job with them either. I will not stop.

Ordered online (first mistake) from florist shop I THOUGHT was in Fargo, ND. Troys Florist. They falsely promote themselves as "local" Fargo florist. Email and follow up call after the order telling me "I did not meet the local florist minimum order requirement" they needed additional $10 to meet requirement. I said, "no absolutely not - cancel my order immediately" send me confirmation of cancelled order immediately". Cust Svs rep then said, "oh it's just a suggested amount to add to your order". Total scam. I cancelled my card via instant chat with my bank and alerted them about Troys. Reporting to BBB only to learn they have an "F" rating. Go figure.
