I got a friend request from an old friend. He told me to text a number and tell them I was ready to see if I was eligible to apply for this grant. I texted them with my address and my ID picture. They later on said I have to purchase a NORDSTROM gift card and when I said I couldn’t they said I was going to get arrested because I lied and said I could earlier but I didn’t. They were recording my voice calls and are having me text them every morning until I can purchase the card to further this process. I kept telling them I want to op out amd they wait it’s too late! Never ever would have done any of this if I knew I had to purchase something to get a grant.

Someone made a fake Facebook profile of my grandfather and once people accepted the friend request he pretended to be my grandfather claiming he'd received $100K+ and gave information for David E Edwards of Trust Community Fund to get clients to sign up for this fund.

This is what he wrote when I messaged David E Edwards:

"My Name is David E Edward}from Trust Community fund (TCF), we're helping workers, hearing, deaf, old, young, students. widowed, Retired and people with disabilities to benefit from us financially to maintain the standard of living. Are you here to apply?"

My husbad got a Facebook message from his Aunt saying that his name is on a list that she saw when she got $100,000. They asked for $1000 in google play cards and personal information.
