This site pretended to very the global entry site to process my renewal. I entered extensive personal information and paid $167. There is no contact us page or way to dispute this.

Similar story... up-ticked AD link sitting above the proper CBP.gov. So ashamed, I never fall for this crap... Jet lagged and frustrated with the crossing line today, I completely missed it when I got to the hotel and decided to go apply for GE. Also finally registered the non .gov site link at the application payment so no credit card info given, but so much personal info...
Hopefully a simple scam of pocketing an excessive processing fee and not more nefarious.

Not sure this website is a scam or legit but details such as name, address, license and passport number, employment and residential history were entered until the payment screen when it appeared incorrect.

When she notified me of the price, I quickly told her the website is most likely fake it should have been done thru a government site.

I searched on Google for the Global Entry Trusted Traveler Program. One of the sponsored pages was the Trusted Global Entry page. I entered all of the requested information like my name, addresses over the last 5 years, employers over the last 5 years, driver's license information, and passport information. I clicked submit and when it took my to the payment website, I noticed an additional fee and did not submit my payment information. I then found the correct website: https://ttp.dhs.gov/.
