Requested interview on Google hangout. I thought it was legitimate because it could have been a video call. Instead it was a texting interview so he could send my answers to his supervisor. He asked a bunch of normal interview questions. Requested my address and email and phone number for background check purposes and asked which bank branch I used and I stupidly gave it to him. Then told me I was being offered the job and would receive a check in the mail to buy a software program then would receive a laptop and w-4 in the mail. He said hourly pay was $35/hr which seemed crazy. At that point I realized it was a scam. I feel so stupid
