Awful!
"Bonus $50 Ace Hardware Gift Card Opportunity"
I then called my credit card and reported the second charge as fraud. I received a credit for the $54.95. We changed my card number to prevent any further fraud. Shortly thereafter I received an email from [email protected] saying $54.95 had been refunded back to my card. I did get my fitness tracker in the mail a few days ago. It looks like a nice one, but I have paid for it in time and trouble.
My husband gave me an invaluable tip: If you hover your curser over the sender of any email, you can find out where the email actually came from. Offers like this are rarely from the sender you assume you are dealing with (e.g. Ace Hardware). I have been reporting them to gmail as spam!

The phone number attached to the charge is a call service. I was told I had signed up for something with a recurring monthly. I was so mad I don't remember what the operator called it. There was NEVER any notice of a monthly charge in the survey or in choosing my "reward" for taking the survey.
As my husband and I complained about it she offered a 17% refund, then said her final refund allowed was 50% and said I would receive $27.48. I agreed to that. I have a received an email notification from trytoptierhotdeals.com that it was being returned to my account in 2-3 days.
Oh, by the way, on that Nov 27th after I requested and paid the postage for the fitness watch, there was another identical pop-up but this time it was from Home Depot. I clicked on the survey button but was refused access.
