Take a survey...get a fitness watch, then 3 days later a charge hit my bank for $64.95...#BIGSCAM x 10!

I had a very similar experience to the one mentioned above. This time the "survey" said Ace Hardware, which is somewhere we shop quite often. The survey seemed legit, although I was surprised at the end to be offered, not the gift card I expected, but a series of gifts I could choose from by paying the postage. I chose the fitness tracker.for $7.95 postage. The confirmation for the order came from support@trytoptierhot deals.com and clearly stated $7.95. However the charge on my card was from Save Here Now, and was shortly followed by another charge for $54.95. Since Save Here Now is a legitimate business on the amazon platform, I called them. They could find no record of any charge to my card from them. The agent tried to locate it using many different avenues (last four numbers of my credit card, my name, my address, order number, first six numbers of my credit card) and told me that they had not charged my card.
I then called my credit card and reported the second charge as fraud. I received a credit for the $54.95. We changed my card number to prevent any further fraud. Shortly thereafter I received an email from [email protected] saying $54.95 had been refunded back to my card. I did get my fitness tracker in the mail a few days ago. It looks like a nice one, but I have paid for it in time and trouble.
My husband gave me an invaluable tip: If you hover your curser over the sender of any email, you can find out where the email actually came from. Offers like this are rarely from the sender you assume you are dealing with (e.g. Ace Hardware). I have been reporting them to gmail as spam!

An email from Lowe's showed up in my inbox. Take this survey and receive a free gift, just pay postage. Took the survey, chose a fitness watch, paid $7.95 on my bank debit/credit card on Nov. 27, 2021. Email receipt shows trytoptierhotdeals.com as recipient. Dec. 2 showed a charge of $54.95 on my checking to BIGHIGHTECHDIETBUND.

The phone number attached to the charge is a call service. I was told I had signed up for something with a recurring monthly. I was so mad I don't remember what the operator called it. There was NEVER any notice of a monthly charge in the survey or in choosing my "reward" for taking the survey.

As my husband and I complained about it she offered a 17% refund, then said her final refund allowed was 50% and said I would receive $27.48. I agreed to that. I have a received an email notification from trytoptierhotdeals.com that it was being returned to my account in 2-3 days.

Oh, by the way, on that Nov 27th after I requested and paid the postage for the fitness watch, there was another identical pop-up but this time it was from Home Depot. I clicked on the survey button but was refused access.
