Type of a scam Rental
"hi, it's available for rent
at first go to our site http://bit.ly/Rentyus-Application-2021 then complete the application, enter your name, email, zip code, phone etc,complete the register now , i call you.Thank."
then immediately followed up with:
"Hey, won't worry, your costing only $1 so it's not big ammount. i hope understand you and have your ability.
anyway,our property only rental by owner, so feel free apply no: http://bit.ly/Rentyus-Application-2021
After completing the application, then i will call you within 10-15 minutes"
When I followed the link it took me to tryrent2own.com, which stated it was accredited with the BBB. The site says that it's $39 to view the homes, not $1. I clicked the CONTACT US link and they only provide an email address but at the bottom of the page is a strip of blue with grey writing (hardly can see it) that states, "ConsumerEdge Inc. is the proud owner of this website. 4101 Wall St Ste C Montgomery, AL 36106".
I looked up both the website and ConsumerEdge Inc. through ScamPulse.com and couldn't find anything.
