Today, Feb. 23, 2017, Gil Walter, showed up as scheduled. I immediately asked for a business card, which he gave me and asked what the phone number on the card was...he told me it was the office number. I called that number....and Gil, standing on our front porch, answered the phone. There is no Contractor's License number or business license number on the business card. His truck is a white van...no marking as to the name of any business.
We did NOT let him in, and told him his business was false, we were told a lie, and did not want nor need his service. He immediately left and I called our Family Air and Heating owner, Jerry, and told him the name of the company that showed up. Jerry told me this is happening all over....companies claiming falsehoods of merging with other companies.
Thank heavens we checked with Family Air and Heating to verify if they had merged...and found out they had not.
Be AWARE of fraudulent companies!
