I was tired and distracted. When I googled searched TSA precheck, I clicked on the top results, which was a scam site. It looked very similar to the government website and even asked relevant information. I entered personal information such as DOB and passport information, but then I noticed the website address was very long and weird, and it requested an incredibly high fee. I immediately stopped what I was doing and closed the website. Thankfully, I did not enter credit card information, but it had saved whatever information I had already inputted. I feel so stupid, especially when I normally vigilant.

I did not catch typos and other clues this was a fake TSA website phishing for information until I submitted my information.
