The seller (Johnny Kanaley and Andrew Patton, DBA "Cans to Curb"), took a $100 deposit for a construction compactor advertised for sale on Facebook Marketplace that I was to buy for $350. As agreed, I drove to the area to meet Mr. Kanaley or Mr. Patton. Mr. Kanaley repeatedly said he was busy and promised to "call me later." When it became apparent that there was no intention of corresponding with me further, I left text, phone, email, and Facebook Messenger messages asking both parties to either honor our agreement or return my deposit. Neither party ever returned any of my calls or messages and I never saw them or the item I purchased.
