I was scammed by txmotorvehicleregistration.com. Normally, I am very strict on internet actitivies, but this one slipped right by. During texas motor vehicle registration, many sites popped up to renew. i am aware of this scams, but failed to notice the .com instead of .gov.

They operate out of Miami, Florida and the card charge for $129 was a portal in Spain. On top of their $129 charge, I am charged with the $78 for the actual renewal fee in the state of Texas.

NEVER NEVER click on a government site that does not end in .gov -- and even .gov can be misleading.
