I get a phone call from a gentleman stating that we owe them for a two year online listing with the yellow pages. When I mentioned I had a printed invoice from them with a heading of the yellowpagesusa.com and the address of 616 Corporate Way, Suite 2-3404 Valley Cottage, NY 10989 and he informs me that is not their company and he has no idea who there are, but when I type TYP media into the BBB listing, guess what address comes up? The same one! He had a recording of my boss stating that he was not renewing anything and they said they would send the final invoice to him, which he gave permission to do, so they say that he is acknowledging that he was aware of the listing that they have no authorization for. I asked if he had a recording of the original authorization or anything signed by U.S. And he says they do not keep records for 2 years and they have no signed authorization from us, only a verbal agreement. This is the biggest scam that we encounter with companies like this one. It is complete and total unethical business practice and we will NEVER pay them. He says he emailed an invoice but I never received it, so I don't have any record of an email address.
