I was contacted by this depot collector that I was told I owed on a fifth third account from 12 years ago. Upon receiving this call I did not have a fifth third account 12 years ago. On trying to obtain more information about their company they could not provide this information. They connected me with their attorney Michael Madia, however he could not provide me with his bar number or any more information other than his name which he said I could look him up on linkdin. When looking this information up I could not locate an attorney with this information. I continued to call back multiple times to obtain information about their company, but they either talked over me the entire time or told me it was a waste of their time and they would be putting a summons from court to my address. Which again they could not provide my address. I called them back multiple times when I spoke with the supposed attorney, he made threatening remarks on how he would meet me in the hallway and how big he was to fight me. This is not how a business is ran. I know this is not a legit company due to the lack of information of their company they can provide and the rude and threatening comments made.

I was contacted on Friday, January 31, 2020 by a lady named Prescilla. She stated I had taken out a loan through MTE Financial in May 2018 and I was being sued. I told her I have never heard of MTE financial and asked her to please send me proof so I could review it. She said she couldn’t do that and I had until Tuesday to pay the debt or they would file a claim. I told her by law I am entitled to this information within 5 business days or it’s not valid. She continued to say she couldn’t help me and if I didn’t want to pay they would levy my bank account. Since then she has called me 2 times a day and finally today she said if I don’t respond by end of day they are going forward with the law suit.
