IP Protection

Bought 3 year protection Package from Ultimate Shop for 998; Last year. Get a call this past week ( March 2023) about IP protection Forever. Thtt was not part of the purchase but as I checked my conputer they added it without my consent after the basic package was initiated.
Called them today, said no I did not want IP protection and furthermore I did not request it at time of basic package. I have copy of original order and no where does it mention IP protection. Max Rogers indicated that even though I don't want it they have prrovided it for a year and I either have to sign up for IP protection forever ( $9000) or pay for the one year they have provided ( $1100 for senior). Max demanded a check payment and required it be mailed today. After arguing, I did write check and photocopied it so that they have my bank and routing number. . Have not mailed This is a scam and I will not be a victim. Called Bank and put stop order on check ( cost is $30)so if I do mail it it will not be processed. It probably means further harassment by Max and Ultimate Shop but too bad. Also reporting it to better business bureau.

The same thing happened to me. I ended up telling him I think they are the hackers. I never wrote a check but told them I did. I contacted the Georgia Dept. of Law, Consumer Protection. Never got any reply. I recently contected them again and they responded that since I have alerted my local police the are closing their file. Needless to say I replied to them with a scathing e-mail. Asked if they expected my local police to go to Atlanta and do their job. Don't send anymore money. Just let them t them harrass you. There's nothing the scammers can do.

I also had this happen. They scared me into buying the protection for 3k+ and saying it was forever. Now it is almost two years later and Max Rogers called me. He says he is the manager of the company. Now he says the protection did not include IP protection and I have been using his software without paying and now I have to pay 4k. I had an argument with him but he said he was going to charge me 9k+ every year if I didn't and if I made any trouble he would charge it for sure. I was an [censored] but I am still going to try and cause some trouble. The info I have regarding this place is: He gave 2 different names for the company - Ultimate shop, 1273 Metropolitan Ave, Atlanta, GA 30316 and Supreme store. The number is 203-493-7979. I called my bank and am working on stopping payment but he threatened me that if I made any trouble he would definitely take the 9k every year and he has all our phone calls recorded etc so I agreed to pay the 4,000 which puts me out 7,000+

Scam

Flashing on computer saying I was being hacked, call number. Stupidly allow access to my computer. One year later tell me I owe $1900,00 for them protecting me. Two months later I owe because they are still protecting me. $2600.00. Now they are telling me they will charge me $15,000.00 for lifetime protection. I am already out $4500,00. I have blocked them from my phone but I feel they will find another way. Max Rodgers sent me a note saying my account was canceled. I tried to get in touch with the Internet scam area of the FBI but I need email addresses and IP which I do not have.

I guess that I am stupid also, these people make you think all this bad stuff is going to happen to you if you don't send them money. They are into me for well over $10,000. I am just at my wits end and not sure what to do! They scared me into thinking that my computer was hacked by all these people! Also, all of these people are foreigners, I think mostly Middle east. They give me names like Max Roger, Paul something or other. who ever heard of these people having names like this! Now they are wanting another $6100.00 for "Final Cancellation" which was supposed to have been done over a month ago. Do I have to send this money, what happens if I don't?

I was on my computer and I clicked on a link about cute animals and a man automatically started to say your computer has been compromised please call this number and I tried to get the man to stip talking but he wouldn't so I called the number , big mistake. He was an Indian man said his name was Paul Harris, and said I needed to send him $449 to fix problem, I said I can't afford that so he said $249 would do it. He said no credit card just a check, and I aid that doesn't sound right but I continued. So I sent him a check for $249 to Ultimate Shop po bob 17560 1273 Metropolitan Ave. SE Atlanta GA 30316. So I called my son and he said this is a scam they want your bank account number so I called my bank the next day and they said its a scam and I had to stop payment on the check and close my checking account and open a new one, what a hassle. I then contacted a company to remove everything these people did to my computer so that cost me money, *** ***** ****** ****** **** ******* ** ****** *** *** ***** *** * **** *** **** ** ***** ***** ****** *** *** ****** We found that all yo have to do is control-alt-delete to remove the man from talking to you and we will do that if this ever happens again. I AM STUPID!! I allowed this man and his cronies to go into my computer and show me things, and it seems that all they placed on my computer was worthles, and I pray it stays that way, these people are ruthless liars and I wish them all BAD fortune!
