Horizon Direct got a hold of my Debit Card Number and charged me for a monthly subscription of $19.95 that would be recurring. I saw the charge on my Debit Card account online, when I went in to check on a transfer of funds to that account. I tried to contact Horizon Direct by phone but was unsuccessful. I emailed them demanding a refund and went on their website and immediately cancelled the subscription. I also did some digging and found out I was NOT the only one this has happened to. I have 2 websites (I will include here) with the names and reports from people who had the same thing happen to them and what they went through. I will include them at the end of this. I also contacted a company by the name of Access Development and spoke to Theresa and sent her the same websites for her to review and report to her management as this company in good faith have been assisting Horizon Direct with their platform. FYI: The "Order Confirmation" that was sent to me by Horizon Direct was NOT sent to the email address associated with my Debit Card. The Card is in the process of being replaced, I have notified the Card issuer of the Scam/Fraud and am also trying to do the same with my bank where I have a credit card issued from so that this does not happen to my Credit Card. At best this is a case of bad business practices that may easily be rectified with a poor rating or fine for their nonsense, at worst a total scam and serious fraud that should shut them down completely.
