UNICEF Employment Scam Reports & Reviews (2)

I received an email about a job opening as a “bookkeeper” through my student email. I was asked to send my interest to this email [email protected]. “Dr Patricia Owen” reached out to me and asked if I was still interested in the position, I said yes. I was asked to download and create an account with Milli. She asked me to share my email and password with her, which is when I started getting skeptical, considering my Milli account has all my personal information. I will be reporting this to my school.

I received a link about a job paying 300 a month to purchase items for families in need. I received the e check in the mail by priority mail. The instructions say to deposit the check and to purchase gift cards with the money. The check is supposed to be from “Home Federal Bank” in Nebraska. I called that bank and gave them the account number and they said the check is fraudulent.
