My mother in law contacted me. A friend messaged her ON FACEBOOK and told her she just got 70k from UNICEF IMF poverty relief grant. That she messaged a lawyer named William Flowers. He gave her instructions to pay for the fees 500-1000 depending on how much she gets. And to send him her personal info. He said they will verify it and send info to send the fees. So that if shes approved they will send her winnings.

She sent her info they approved her for 50k and requested 500 upfront.

This is a scam. They even asked for a copy of her DL. She is elderly. So she didn't know any better. I'm thankful she asked me. And I messaged them saying i heard this from a friend. They messaged me right away.

UNICEF DOESN'T GIVE PERSONAL GRANTS. NEITHER DOES IMF.

The number is 14144347960 and it came back as not valid. They requested we text and not call. And it's a Sunday.
