This scammer offered me a job and wanted to email me a check to cover computer and software costs. He never responded about the job and I was given specific instructions on what to buy but needed to have the company logo. When I asked too many questions, they stopped answering altogether.

Contacted me via text and indicated they say my resume and thought I would be a good fit for a logistics role they had. They offered and interview. The interview was via teams. I told them I was not available until 1:30pm they told me to contact them back at 1:40. I thought that was odd. Why 10 minutes later. I reached out they did not respond right away. They responded 20 minutes later and when I asked if they wanted to jump on a live call, cricketts! Then they sent me a link to the website that did not work as they needed time to review some information. After that I began looking them up and say another encounter with them, same scenario. I blocked them hopped off the teams chat and reported.

They approach me online regarding a job and they said that they was going to send me a check for $6000 so I could purchase all the work materials I needed such as computer printer, etc. I deposited the check to my account and the next day the funds were available and then they told me to pay these vendors for my materials on cash app and Venmo and it totaled up to $2448.45 then I went to look at my bank account on my phone and that’s when I noticed that the check had just been returned the day or two before. Please help.
