I was trying to change my address and they charged me 79 dollars instead of 1.00 only method of contact was email still no response back.

- New York, NY, USA

Change of address made to look just like the USPS, and does not list the price, as one is used to paying just 1.05. It is in the fine print. You will not receive a confirmation email, you will not be able to call them, as there is no number to call. There is only a email contact us page, which will not be replied to. I was charged $80 for nothing.

My husband attempted to fill our a change of address form at USPS, and somehow got led to a copycat form on this 3rd party website "unitedaddressupdate.org" and we were consequently charged 79.95 for their service. (An address change should cost $1.05 at USPS) There is no contact # on the scammer's website, but luckily there was a phone number listed on the charge on our bank statement (**********). The fine print on their website says that there is a guaranteed no-questions-asked refund policy. I called and demanded a 100% refund and they said they will cancel our account and issue a refund. Hoping to see the refund, but won't be surprised if it does not show up. When I asked the customer service agent what the name of the business is, he said it's just called "Different Address Change Service." He wouldn't even tell me the correct business name or website. Obviously they didn't want me warning others of the scam. Make sure that if you request a change of address, you do so at USPS.com, and NOT a third party!

I was trying to process a change of address online, I clicked on the first option. Looked good and official. Ask me to put in my old address and my new address as well as some credit card information. Just tried 79.95 for what should have been a simple change of address.

- Hagerstown, MD, USA

Site was very deceiving. Claimed to need a valid debit card to verify identity. Had no idea they were going to charge my card $79.95 until I received a receipt via e-mail. They claim to offer no questions asked refunds but considering there is virtually no contact information besides sending “them” a message on their site, I’m doubtful.

This is a complete scam! The website page is very deceiving, I was charged 79.95 for an address change. They claim they are going to put half the money back into my account in the amount of 39.95, and my mail will still be forwarded to my new address. I am not counting on it. My bank did find a phone number 1-888-643-3331.

This company UsP Address Change Service, makes it look like the USPS for change of address. They take your credit card number, no details otherwise, but make it look VERY similar to the USPS change of address site.

There are no charges identified at all, it is NOT the USPS and it is falsely advertising as such and then says it sells your information.

Please help, there is no real contact information on the site.
