ALex told me that UAC could help modify our interest on our current mortgage down to 2%. I had just had a stroke and lost my job because I was unable to do the work. It was a loss of $4000 a month so a lower mortgage would be helpful. I sent them all the paperwork and a check for $875.00 to start the process. the program was Care Act -HOmeowner Mortgage assistance fund, which actually ended in May 2023. This all took place Aug and Sept. 2024 2 weeks later I sent the second payment of $925.00. Papers were sent to me for me to mail to my mortgage company, which I did. I was advised to not make the Aug or Sept. mortgage payments because they would be modification months, no payment would be needed. My payments would resume in October. to keep in contact with our mortgage co. so we did. I found out from our mortgage company that modifications can only be made through/with our mortgage holder. I am $2199.38 in arrears in our mortgage because of bad advise. and fraudulent business practices. I'd like my $1800 i paid for their service and my 2 months mortgage payment because of bad and fraudulent practices.
