United loans called and told me I could get a loan of up 5000. I recently applied for a loan online. I chose 3000 with repayment of 133 a month for 2yrs. They told I had to do a verification application online so I did. The website was transunion credit site. Which 24.99 was taken out my account. They also took me through opening a account at BBVA which funds were going to that account.

I had the exact same problem. I had to close my bank account. It has been a nigjtmare

- Boca Raton, FL, USA

I have been trying to find a personal loan to help my reduced cash flow situation. I made a number of applications over the internet from google searched. Amongst others, I was contacted by a Company called United Loans. After going through their interview process I was advised that I had been approved for a loan and then the process became both unusual, frustrating and definitely suspicious. Below is a copy of one of the email exchanges I had with these persons after I had been told to open a new bank checking account at XXXX Bank and depositing $26 because my existing Bank Account was not in their acceptable banks list as well as also paying $91.38 to a Company called xxxxx Security which they said they would refund within 90 days. I have called the Security Company and they have agreed to refund the $91.38 and I believe they are reputable and have also been caught up in the scam.

I have xx'ed out any reference to my identity in the email exchange below as per your instructions. This incident occurred over a period of 3-4 weeks commencing late April. I apologize for the slowness in submitting this complaint but work and family commitments have been my priority whilst I try and resolve my financial situation. However, I did not want to let this situation remain as not reported.

Thank you,

xxxxxxxxx

To whom it may concern,

Today I had another unfortunate experience with your Company and very misleading processes. After being told in the morning I had been again approved for my loan (see further below) and following the instructions and completing another application in order to receive my funds I was subsequently rejected by xxxxxxxxx. When I called the provided phone number I was told that I would receive another notification of another Company to provide the funds within 30 mins and to wait for that email. As usual, nothing arrived. I waited 3 hours before calling again.

Each time the phone was answered I was kept on hold for a number of minutes and then cut off. After 12 attempts I finally got to talk to a very rude operator who said to simply wait until someone calls me and she then hung up. I then called the original number with which I was provided and told my representative named Jennifer would respond within 10 mins as she was in a meeting and if she didn't call me back then to call again and ask for a Supervisor. As always, Jennifer never called. I waited 20 mins and when I called back someone else finally answered and advised my application had been cancelled.

So, here's the situation. You have led me around for almost 3 weeks now. Twice I have been told I had been approved for $7,000. You could have said "no" ages ago without leading me on. Getting me to open an account at XXXX Bank as well as at xxxxx Security smells of a scam. I will also be closing these accounts and calling them to explain the reasons why. Plus I will be requesting Alder for a full refund of the $91.38 I paid to them. I have no idea what's going on but somethings not right.

Sometime tomorrow I will be forwarding this email plus all supporting emails from your Company to the Better Business Bureau and lodging a formal complaint.

I will also be lodging a formal complaint with the Federal Bureau known as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Finally, I will also be contacting the local Fraud Squad to ask what should be my next steps, if any.

I am angry. I have no problem with being told no, I don't qualify. But to be strung along and stretched out like you have done now for almost 3 weeks is not only wrong but very cruel. You can explain it to the Regulators and Authorities.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

I'm sorry to say but link to xxxxxxx.com as provided by you below produced a negative response i.e. no loan available, even though earlier today you stated below it was approved. Please explain.

I received a call from someone at United Loans about a payday loan. I went through the process of having to apply for credit monitoring and going to different sites to apply for a loan and then opening an account with BBVA in order to receive the loan. I never received the loan and when I call the number back all I get is a ring and then a busy signal. I am afraid of what is going to happen now that they have my info but I did give them the number to a card that I don't use anymore. I talked with a lady first name "Ronnie Cooper" and then a man name Mike who is suppose to be the supervisor.

I received a call from United Loans well that's who they say they are I'm not sure but he wanted me to click on a link that he sent me through email I did then he wanted me to do some input of information on myself but the web page said it didn't exist he kept telling me to keep trying I almost did but told him that maybe I have to clean my phone and that I would call him back. That's when I checked with the ScamPulse.com I had a feeling it was a scam because most scammer have an accent like Indian maybe a Saudi Arabian or something like that.
